Privacy policy

TaskTagger is designed to collect nothing. This page explains what that means in practice.

✦ What we do not collect

  • No accounts, no signup: there is nothing to register for, so we hold no names, emails or passwords.
  • No task data: the titles you generate are created by JavaScript running in your own browser. They are never sent to our servers, because there is no server-side component to send them to.
  • No cookies: TaskTagger sets no cookies and uses no local storage for tracking.
  • No analytics: we do not run analytics scripts, fingerprinting, or third-party trackers on these pages.

✦ What your browser may do

When you click "Download .txt", your browser saves a file to your device — that file is yours, on your hardware, and we never see it. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch font files; that exchange is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours.
